We have compiled a large selection of attractive photochrom Scottish prints from which you can either choose single prints or order a group of images. These could be a group of images from the same area, a group of castles, a set of different towns or a group of typical views of Scotland.

Photochroms are the result of old black and white images that had colour added to them to make them more realistic. This attempt to create colour prints was performed a 100 years or so ago, which was a long time before colour technology arrived.  The results are often a grainy effect, which coupled with these old scenes add interest and a charm so different from everything else we view today.
